Latest National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model guidance for Miami on September 19 project a daytime high near 85–89 °F amid scattered thunderstorms and high humidity, placing the 86–87 °F and 88–89 °F bins in near-equal favor. Persistent easterly flow, afternoon sea-breeze convergence, and cloud cover from typical late-summer convection are expected to cap insolation and trim the diurnal peak several degrees below the 88.9 °F climatological average. Minor differences among GFS and ECMWF runs hinge on exact timing and coverage of storms, which can suppress or allow brief clearing that shifts the maximum by 2–3 °F. With resolution less than 48 hours away, the next 24-hour cycle of official updates and mesoscale guidance will likely tighten trader consensus around these two leading outcomes.
