Forecast consensus from National Weather Service and private models points to a Seattle high on September 20 in the upper 60s to low 70s, aligning with market-implied odds favoring 70-71°F. Recent clear to partly cloudy conditions and northerly flow have supported modest daytime heating near seasonal norms of 69°F, while patchy fog and marine influence limit stronger warming. Key variables include afternoon cloud cover, which could cap readings near 66-67°F, versus clearer skies and lighter winds that might push values to 72-73°F. Higher outcomes remain unlikely absent unusual downslope effects or model shifts. Final National Weather Service observations will resolve the market after sunset tomorrow.
