Trader consensus clusters on 15–17°C for Toronto’s September 21 high because short-range models, including recent GFS and ECMWF runs, indicate persistent northeasterly flow advecting cooler maritime air under widespread cloud cover that limits daytime heating. This pattern follows weekend warmth and keeps afternoon maxima near seasonal norms of roughly 16–18°C, with limited solar insolation and steady winds suppressing peaks. Ensemble spreads remain modest yet allow for minor shifts if cloud breaks occur or steering patterns change. Official Environment Canada guidance and updated model cycles over the next 48 hours will refine the exact maximum before resolution.
