Recent forecast runs from agencies and models indicate a high temperature in Wuhan on September 19 most likely between 28–30 °C, aligning with the closely matched market-implied odds for those outcomes. Persistent cloud cover and light northeast winds following widespread rain on the 17th and 18th are limiting daytime heating, while the subtropical monsoon climate typical of the region keeps baseline September maxima near 28–29 °C. Model consensus shows minimal disagreement on steering patterns but some spread in cloud thickness that could add or subtract 1–2 °C. Updated guidance from the China Meteorological Administration or NOAA ensembles expected in the next 24–48 hours will likely narrow resolution probabilities ahead of the daily maximum observation.
