Recent forecast models for Beijing show considerable spread in expected overnight lows for September 25, with official guidance centering around 17–20 °C amid lingering moisture and variable cloud cover following earlier showers. Clearer skies could enhance radiative cooling and push minima toward or below 13 °C, while persistent cloudiness or a warmer southerly flow would limit cooling and support readings at or above 23 °C. These opposing regimes—driven by the position and strength of the next frontal system—explain the near-even market-implied odds between the extreme bins, with narrower outcomes around 17–22 °C reflecting the range of ensemble solutions. Updated runs from the China Meteorological Administration and verification against historical late-September variability will be key ahead of resolution.
