**Trader consensus strongly favors a 64-65°F low in Los Angeles on September 2, 2026, at 92% implied probability.** This positioning reflects current National Weather Service and model guidance showing overnight lows in the mid-60s under typical early-September marine-layer conditions, with clear to partly cloudy skies and light onshore flow from the Pacific moderating radiational cooling. Historical climatology supports this range, as the 1991–2020 average low for the date is 64.7°F at Los Angeles International Airport, with recent years rarely deviating sharply absent strong offshore winds or anomalous cold-air advection. Supporting evidence includes consistent forecast runs from multiple sources projecting minimums of 61–67°F, aligning closely with the 64–65°F bin. No major synoptic features—such as a deep trough or Santa Ana wind event—are expected to alter the pattern before resolution. Realistic challenges to this outcome would require a sharper-than-forecast drop in dew points, enhanced clear-sky cooling, or a late-day temperature plunge below model consensus, though current atmospheric stability makes such shifts improbable.
