Current forecast guidance from meteorological agencies points to a September 26 high near 33°C in Karachi, supported by persistent westerly winds and partial cloud cover that limit daytime heating after the recent heatwave peaked above 40°C. Sea breezes from the Arabian Sea provide additional moderation, while elevated humidity levels influence the heat index but have less direct effect on the official maximum temperature reading. Minor differences in model runs regarding exact cloud timing, wind gust strength, or localized urban effects create the observed spread in trader-implied probabilities across the 31–37°C range, reflecting genuine uncertainty in the final peak value. Updated model outputs and Pakistan Meteorological Department briefings in the next 48 hours represent the key data releases likely to refine these odds.
