Official forecasts from Singapore's Meteorological Service and international models indicate a daily maximum near 31–32°C on September 24, driven by southwest monsoon flow, high humidity, and widespread afternoon thundery showers that limit solar heating. Earlier September saw frequent peaks above 34°C, but increased rainfall in the second half has moderated temperatures, with recent observations showing 32–33°C highs under partly cloudy skies. Market-implied odds align with this consensus, as persistent cloud cover and precipitation probability above 50% reduce the chance of reaching 33°C or higher while making 32°C the most probable outcome under current steering patterns and instability.
