Current National Weather Service forecasts for Miami on September 23 project a high near 87°F under a humid, unstable airmass with 70-90% chances of showers and thunderstorms, aligning with the market's tight clustering around 86-89°F. Persistent tropical moisture, southeasterly flow, and widespread cloud cover are limiting daytime heating while afternoon convection further caps peaks, consistent with climatological late-September patterns featuring frequent storms. Model consensus shows modest spread in boundary-layer details that could shift the exact maximum by a degree or two. Updated NWS discussions and 12z model runs over the next 48 hours will provide the clearest resolution signals ahead of the event.
