Current National Weather Service and private model guidance points to a Thursday overnight low in Dallas in the low-to-mid 70s, driven by easterly flow at 5–10 mph that limits radiational cooling under partly to mostly cloudy skies and dew points near 60 °F. These conditions sit well above the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 67 °F for September 24, reducing the near-term likelihood of readings at or below 65 °F while also capping upside potential for an unusually warm minimum near or above 84 °F. Model consensus remains tight on the central tendency, yet small differences in cloud timing or boundary-layer moisture could shift the realized minimum by several degrees, sustaining the near-even market-implied odds between the extreme tails. Updated forecast discussions and hourly observations through the night will provide the next clear signals.
