Current forecast models indicate an overnight low for New York City on September 18 in the upper 60s to low 70s Fahrenheit, shaped by northerly winds behind a weak frontal boundary, partly to mostly clear skies, and moderate humidity levels that limit radiational cooling. This setup aligns with late-summer climatology for the region, where typical minima hover near 65°F but can remain milder under southerly flow influence earlier in the period. Market-implied odds heavily favor the 70-71°F bin, reflecting trader consensus on model runs showing limited overnight drop despite some variability across guidance. Updated National Weather Service and ensemble data releases in the next 24 hours could refine these probabilities as conditions evolve.
