Trader consensus on a 21–22°C peak for Cape Town on September 18 reflects model agreement on clear skies, high pressure, and moderate southeasterly winds under spring conditions typical for the region. Official forecasts from multiple sources indicate an afternoon maximum near 20–21°C, with strong SE flow (gusts to 30+ km/h) and low humidity limiting further warming while preventing significant cooling. Slight differences between 21°C and 22°C arise from variations in peak timing, wind mixing, and localized model runs, as surface observations and updated guidance continue to refine the exact high. Resolution depends on the official daily maximum recorded at primary stations.
