Current forecasts from multiple models indicate a minimum temperature in Cape Town on September 18 near 10–12°C under clear skies and moderate southeasterly winds associated with high pressure. Radiative cooling overnight will be the main driver of the low, tempered by the Atlantic Ocean's moderating influence and persistent winds that limit extreme drops. Historical September averages hover around 11°C, with recent stable conditions supporting trader consensus on mid-range outcomes. Model spread and local microclimates create the observed balance across probabilities, with final updates from agencies like the South African Weather Service likely to refine the exact figure before resolution.
