Recent forecasts from global models and the Pakistan Meteorological Department indicate mostly clear skies and light to moderate northwest winds over Karachi on September 21, supporting peak temperatures in the mid-to-upper 30s Celsius amid post-monsoon subsidence and strong solar heating. Low precipitation chances and moderate humidity levels reduce evaporative cooling, while the Arabian Sea breeze may temper afternoon maxima depending on its timing and strength. Market-implied odds cluster tightly between 36–40°C because ensemble runs show small differences in cloud cover, wind gusts, and boundary-layer mixing that can shift the daily high by 1–2°C. Traders weigh these variables against historical September baselines near 35°C, with updated model guidance expected to refine probabilities before resolution.
