This market will resolve based on the highest temperature recorded in the 'Daily Observations' table on Weather Underground, not the figure displayed in the 'Day High & Low' summary section; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Daily Observations table shall be the primary resolution source not the Day High & Low section. This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Taipei Songshan Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 3 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Taipei Songshan Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/tw/taipei/RCSS. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Persistent cloud cover and widespread rain expected across northern Taiwan on September 3, driven by an approaching low-pressure system and strong easterly flow, are the main factors capping daytime heating and keeping the highest temperature near or below seasonal norms of 30–31°C. Official Central Weather Administration guidance and ensemble models show highs of 27–32°C with 75–95% precipitation probability, while high humidity and reduced insolation limit peaks compared to clearer analogs. Trader sentiment clusters tightly around 30–32°C because model runs diverge mainly on exact rainfall timing and intensity rather than broader thermal trends, with uncertainty remaining until the next 48-hour forecast updates.
