**Trader sentiment for the lowest Los Angeles temperature on September 20, 2026, centers on observed overnight lows near 65°F amid persistent marine layer influence.** Official National Weather Service data recorded a minimum of 65°F downtown and similar values around 64–67°F at LAX, aligning closely with the leading 64–65°F outcome. Cloudy conditions and a strong marine layer suppressed radiational cooling, preventing drops into the upper 50s that some earlier model runs had suggested under clearer scenarios. This produced a tight contest with the 57°F-or-below bin, as traders weighed typical September coastal climatology (average low near 63°F) against variable stratus coverage and wind patterns. Upcoming official station reports and any revisions in preliminary climatological data will likely resolve remaining uncertainty between these closely matched probabilities.
