**Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models point to a San Francisco high temperature of 66–68°F on September 22, 2026, driven by persistent onshore westerly flow and marine-layer influence that limits daytime warming.** Prevailing southwest winds of 5–15 mph, combined with morning cloud cover transitioning to partial clearing, are expected to keep peak readings below the long-term September 22 average of 70.6°F. Recent September conditions have featured similar moderate highs in the mid-60s after an early-month heat spike, reinforcing trader positioning toward the 66–69°F range (61% combined implied probability). Model consensus shows low risk of significant warming or cooling, with any revisions likely tied to updated wind or cloud forecasts rather than major pattern shifts.
