Forecast models from sources including the Pakistan Meteorological Department and international agencies converge on a maximum temperature near 35°C for Karachi on September 23, supported by strengthening westerly winds and sea breezes that moderate daytime heating as the monsoon season wanes. Recent observations show a cooling trend from earlier September peaks above 38°C, with clear to mostly sunny skies and low precipitation risk limiting further intensification. Market-implied odds reflect genuine uncertainty in the precise peak, as small shifts in wind speed, humidity, or cloud cover—common in coastal Sindh—can alter the daily high by 1–2°C. Traders weigh these variables against historical September baselines around 32–34°C while awaiting updated model runs closer to the date.
