This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Wuhan Tianhe International Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 23 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=zhhh If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Forecast models for Wuhan on September 23, 2026, show highest temperatures clustered between roughly 25–29 °C, with recent runs indicating possible afternoon maxima near 26–28 °C amid variable cloud cover and light precipitation.** Current conditions feature a post-frontal air mass with northeast-to-east winds, elevated humidity (70–85 %), and scattered showers or overcast skies through September 22 that are limiting daytime heating. These factors create modest uncertainty in the precise peak: thicker clouds or brief showers would cap readings closer to 25–26 °C by reducing solar insolation, while partial clearing could allow surface warming toward 28–29 °C under light winds. Historical climatology for late September places the typical daily high near 27 °C, providing a baseline that aligns with the market’s evenly distributed probabilities (roughly 19–20 % each for 24–28 °C outcomes). No strong warm or cold advection is expected in the next 48 hours, so the spread in trader-implied odds largely reflects model differences in cloud timing and coverage rather than large-scale temperature shifts. Updated National Meteorological Center or ECMWF runs on September 22 will likely narrow the range ahead of market resolution.
