Gold (XAU/USD) has rallied sharply to around $4,340 following disappointing July U.S. Nonfarm Payrolls that showed a 23,000-job decline, sharply reducing September Fed rate-hike probabilities and pressuring Treasury yields lower. This move aligns with broader positioning ahead of key August data including July CPI and PPI releases, which will shape expectations for the Federal Reserve's policy path under Chair Kevin Warsh amid still-elevated inflation readings. Safe-haven demand remains supported by ongoing Middle East tensions, while the U.S. dollar's recent softening provides additional tailwinds. Traders are monitoring these releases closely for clues on whether gold sustains momentum above $4,300 or encounters resistance near recent highs.
