Current National Weather Service and model guidance indicate a Friday high near 92–94°F for Dallas under easterly flow and mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies, consistent with late-September climatology averaging 87°F. This positions mid-90s ranges as the baseline, while the near-even market odds on 104°F+ versus 85°F or below reflect trader focus on potential forecast busts from subtle variables such as boundary-layer moisture, exact cloud cover, or minor steering-pattern shifts that could suppress or enhance daytime heating. Official updates from the NWS Dallas/Fort Worth office and revised model runs over the next 48 hours will likely tighten implied probabilities around observed trends rather than extremes.
