Current National Weather Service and model consensus point to an overnight low near 58–60°F in Atlanta on September 25 under mostly clear skies and light northerly flow, supporting radiative cooling after daytime highs in the upper 70s. This aligns with a modest cooldown from recent 90°F readings and above-normal September conditions, though ensemble spread leaves room for 2–4°F variations tied to boundary-layer moisture or minor wind shifts. Historical data show average lows around 63°F with occasional drops to the upper 40s, yet prevailing guidance favors mid-range outcomes over extremes. Traders appear to weigh forecast confidence against the two-day horizon and potential last-minute model adjustments from NOAA updates.
