Forecast models from the National Weather Service and ensembles show Atlanta's September 24 minimum temperature likely settling near 59–63°F under northeasterly flow and increased cloud cover that reduces radiational cooling overnight. This aligns with the climatological average low of 63°F but sits well below recent warm September norms. Trader sentiment remains nearly evenly split between sub-57°F and 76°F+ outcomes because small shifts in moisture, wind speed, or model consensus on steering patterns could push the low several degrees either way before resolution. Updated NHC and local guidance ahead of the date will clarify whether the current cool-air advection strengthens or weakens.
