High pressure building across the UK is driving trader sentiment toward a peak temperature near or above 25°C in London on September 22, with Met Office guidance and ensemble models showing sunny intervals, light winds, and above-average warmth for late September. Current forecasts cluster around 23–25°C, though minor variations in cloud cover or timing of any Atlantic moisture could shift the daily maximum by 1–2°C. The tight spread among 23°C, 24°C, 25°C, and 26°C+ outcomes reflects this inherent short-range forecast uncertainty, typical of late-summer high-pressure setups where small changes in insolation or boundary-layer mixing affect the exact high. Updated model runs and official briefings over the next 48 hours will likely narrow the range ahead of resolution.
