**Forecast consensus from the Met Office and other models positions London’s September 21 maximum near 22–23 °C under clear skies and light winds.** High pressure has delivered dry, sunny conditions across southern England, with morning temperatures starting in the low teens and rising steadily through the afternoon as solar heating peaks. Official guidance lists a daytime high of 23 °C, while several numerical models and private forecasts cluster between 22–23 °C, matching the market’s heaviest weighting (22 °C at 55 %, 23 °C at 31 %). Winds remain light (generally under 10 mph), limiting mixing and allowing surface temperatures to reach the forecast ceiling without significant cloud cover or rain to suppress them. Historical September averages for central London sit around 19–20 °C, so today’s setup represents a modest positive anomaly consistent with the current ridge. With the day already well underway and no major model shifts reported overnight, traders have converged on the narrow 22–23 °C band as the most probable outcome, leaving little room for outliers unless an unexpected late surge or cooling develops.

If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
