Recent forecast runs from the Finnish Meteorological Institute and supporting models indicate a daytime maximum of 16°C in Helsinki on September 19, driven by persistent southwesterly flow and extensive cloud cover that limits solar heating while preventing significant cooling. This aligns with the market's strong 53.5% implied probability for 16°C and 33% for 17°C, as ensembles show limited upside from warmer advection but some risk of 15°C if showers intensify. Historical September climatology places average highs near 15°C, making the current setup modestly above normal yet consistent with trader consensus on modest variability in the 15–17°C range ahead of final model updates.
