Current forecasts from the Finnish Meteorological Institute and other models point to a mild southwesterly flow over Helsinki on September 20, supporting daytime highs near 16–17°C amid variable cloud cover and scattered showers. This reflects a slightly warmer-than-climatological air mass for mid-September, when average maxima hover around 14–15°C, though model spread in timing of any clearing or rain bands creates uncertainty around the precise peak. Trader consensus on the closely matched 16°C and 17°C outcomes aligns with this narrow range, as stronger winds or persistent overcast could limit heating while brief sun would favor the upper end. Updated high-resolution runs and FMI briefings expected in the next 24–48 hours will likely refine the daily maximum before resolution.
