Recent National Weather Service and regional model guidance for Panama City, Panama, points to a maximum temperature near 32°C on September 18 under partly cloudy skies with scattered thunderstorms, consistent with September climatology of 30–33°C highs amid peak wet-season humidity and convection. Light winds and high moisture content limit extreme heating, while any earlier clearing could briefly push readings toward 33°C before afternoon storms develop. Trader positioning, with 33°C at 49% implied probability and 32°C at 27.5%, reflects this narrow forecast range and the low likelihood of either unusually strong insolation or widespread rain suppressing the peak. Updated model runs tomorrow morning will provide the final observational check before market resolution.
