Recent heavy rainfall across northern Taiwan through September 6, driven by a large low-pressure system and northeasterly winds, has kept daytime maxima suppressed near 27–29°C. Official Central Weather Administration guidance and ensemble forecasts now indicate gradual clearing and reduced precipitation on September 7, allowing greater solar heating under partly cloudy skies. This shift supports model consensus for a daily high in the 30–33°C range, with 31–32°C emerging as the most probable band given typical early-September climatology (historical means near 31°C) and current humidity levels above 70%. Variable steering patterns and lingering moisture introduce modest downside risk to the peak reading, while any earlier-than-expected clearing could push values toward 33°C. Updated model runs and the next Central Weather Administration briefing remain the key near-term catalysts.
