Current National Weather Service and model guidance points to overnight lows in the mid-70s for Dallas on September 2, 2026, under persistent southerly flow, high dew points near 70°F, and limited radiational cooling from cloud cover and humidity. This setup aligns with early-September climatology (average low ~74.5°F) while reflecting above-normal warmth from ongoing heat. Trader consensus at 80–81°F (61% implied probability) versus mid-70s outcomes likely incorporates uncertainty in exact minimum timing and any late-day shower effects, with fresh model runs from NOAA expected to sharpen resolution criteria before market close.
