Tanya Miller leads the 2026 Georgia Attorney General race in trader consensus after securing the Democratic nomination with roughly 85 percent in the May primary against Robert Trammell. Brian Strickland captured the Republican nomination with about 72 percent against Bill Cowsert in the same cycle, following incumbent Chris Carr’s decision to run for governor instead. The open seat has produced a contest centered on prosecutorial experience, consumer protection priorities, and approaches to public safety enforcement, with both nominees highlighting records in state legislative and legal roles. Recent months have featured limited new polling or major campaign events that would shift positioning, leaving the general election matchup on November 3 as the key resolution trigger and sustaining Miller’s edge in market pricing.
