Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance points to a cooler-than-average pattern for Atlanta on September 25, with high pressure and northerly flow limiting daytime heating. Current consensus forecasts place the daily maximum near 76–79 °F under partly to mostly sunny skies and light winds, consistent with the tight clustering of market-implied odds across the 74–79 °F bins. This reflects below-normal temperatures following a period of moderation after mid-September warmth, with minimal cloud cover and dry air favoring efficient radiational cooling overnight but only modest afternoon recovery. Key variables that could shift the outcome include any late adjustments to the steering flow or unexpected boundary-layer mixing; updated model runs and National Weather Service briefings over the next 48 hours will refine the precise peak.
