This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Los Angeles International Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 23 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Recent National Weather Service and ensemble forecasts indicate sunny conditions and light southwest winds will drive a daytime high in the low to mid-80s°F for Los Angeles on September 23, supported by building high pressure and reduced marine layer influence. This aligns with late-September climatology, where downtown averages near 83°F, though sea breezes at coastal stations like LAX often cap readings several degrees lower. Trader consensus clustering around 78–81°F reflects uncertainty over exact peak timing and microclimate differences, with models showing minimal disagreement on overall warmth but potential for slight revisions from overnight low-cloud persistence. Final hourly observations from official stations will determine resolution.
