Persistent high-pressure ridging over the southern Plains is driving clear skies, strong daytime heating, and south to southeast winds of 5–10 mph across North Texas, positioning Dallas for an upper-90s to low-100s high on September 6. Official National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble guidance converge on 98–100 °F, consistent with recent observed highs of 94–100 °F earlier in the week and well above the 1991–2020 September 6 average of 92.5 °F. Low dew points relative to peak heat support minimal cloud cover or precipitation risk, while heat-index values near 105 °F underscore the thermal setup. With only 48 hours until resolution and stable model consensus, trader-implied odds favor the 98–99 °F bin as the most probable outcome under current atmospheric conditions.
