National Weather Service and model consensus, including GFS guidance, point to a high near 100-101°F in Dallas on September 8 under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with light southeast winds and minimal precipitation chances. This aligns with the current warm, dry pattern featuring southerly flow and heat indices above 105°F, placing the day well above the 1991-2020 average high of roughly 92°F. Recent observations show consecutive days reaching 100°F, with no significant frontal passage or moisture surge expected to alter the trajectory before the daily maximum. Trader emphasis on the 100-101°F bin reflects this stable forecast consensus ahead of final observations.
