Persistent high pressure and subsidence across North Texas are driving strong solar heating and clear skies for Dallas on September 9, with National Weather Service and model consensus pointing to a maximum temperature near 100°F amid southerly flow and low precipitation odds. This setup has sustained a multi-day heat wave well above the September climatological average of roughly 91–92°F, with heat indices potentially reaching 105°F. Recent observations show consecutive days at or above 100°F and no significant cooling signals in the latest runs, aligning with the market-implied 61.5% probability on the 100–101°F bin. Minor forecast adjustments from afternoon model updates or boundary-layer moisture variations remain the main variables that could shift final readings.
