Current National Weather Service forecasts for Denver on September 10 indicate sunny skies and a high near 90°F, aligning with market-implied odds favoring the 88–91°F range at over 70% combined. This stems from a persistent high-pressure ridge driving subsidence, clear conditions, and strong solar insolation at the city’s 5,280-foot elevation, where daytime heating accelerates under low humidity and light winds. Recent model consensus shows minimal cloud interference or moisture return, sustaining the warm anomaly above the 81°F climatological average. The narrow spread between 88–89°F and 90–91°F reflects typical 1–2°F uncertainty in peak temperature from subtle differences in boundary-layer mixing or exact wind shifts, with updated guidance expected overnight.
