Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting models indicate mostly sunny skies and northerly flow across the Seattle area today, supporting a daytime high near 72–73°F, close to the long-term September 8 average of 72.4°F. This stable high-pressure pattern with minimal cloud cover and light winds has concentrated trader sentiment on the 72–75°F bins, which together exceed 88% implied probability. Recent days have seen similar highs in the low-to-mid 70s without significant warming or cooling trends, and no incoming frontal systems are expected to alter conditions before evening. Updated afternoon observations and any final model runs will determine whether readings edge into the leading 74–75°F outcome or settle lower.
