Current National Weather Service and model guidance points to a mostly clear overnight period with light easterly winds and dew points in the low-to-mid 60s°F, supporting radiational cooling under a persistent Southeast ridge. This setup favors an Atlanta minimum in the upper 60s°F, aligning with the market’s tight clustering around 66–71°F outcomes. Minor differences among leading bins reflect small variations in forecast wind speeds, boundary-layer moisture, and any residual high-cloud effects that could modestly alter the cooling rate. Historical September climatology shows typical overnight lows near 66°F, but the current anomalously warm pattern keeps probabilities for sub-64°F readings low. Updated model runs and official NWS forecasts tonight will provide the next key data points for resolution.
