Recent National Weather Service and model guidance, including GFS consensus, indicates sunny skies and light northwest winds over Atlanta on September 14, supporting a daytime high in the low to mid-90s under high pressure and clear conditions that enhance solar heating. This aligns with the market's leading implied probabilities for 92-93°F (36.5%) and 94-95°F (20%), well above the 1991-2020 September 14 climatological average of 84°F. September 2026 has featured persistently above-normal warmth, with several days reaching the mid-90s amid below-average rainfall, though no major pattern shifts are expected before resolution. Traders appear to weigh the tight forecast spread against minor model variability and potential for slight cooling if clouds increase.
