Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate sunny, stable high-pressure conditions over Cape Town for September 8, with afternoon highs most likely reaching 24–28°C under light northwest to southwest winds and minimal cloud cover. This setup favors strong daytime heating from spring insolation, though slight variations in wind direction and boundary-layer moisture create the tight clustering of market-implied probabilities around 27–29°C. Current observations show a warm spell with similar maxima on preceding days before a cooler front arrives on the 9th. Updated model runs and official South African Weather Service guidance expected in the next 24–48 hours will refine the precise peak.
