Recent forecast runs from Météo-France and global ensembles show Paris reaching a daytime high near 21–22 °C on September 17 under mostly cloudy skies and light southwesterly flow. This follows a sharp cool-down from 32 °C on the 15th as cooler maritime air advects across the region, increasing cloud cover that limits insolation and keeps temperatures close to the late-September climatological average of 21.4 °C. Model consensus on the timing of any light rain or partial clearing produces the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 21–22 °C, with 23 °C remaining possible only if afternoon breaks in cloud cover develop earlier than currently projected.
