Forecast models for Mexico City on September 17 indicate a daytime high near 22–24°C, with market-implied odds split closely between 24°C and 25°C or higher due to uncertainty in peak timing. At 2,240 meters elevation, the highland location moderates temperatures year-round, while September's rainy season brings frequent convective clouds and showers that can cap afternoon maxima by reducing solar heating. Northerly winds and variable humidity further influence the diurnal curve, with light precipitation possible midday. Official guidance from regional meteorological services highlights model spread in cloud cover and rainfall onset, creating the narrow probability gap between the leading outcomes as traders weigh these atmospheric variables against historical September averages around 23–24°C.
