Recent forecast model consensus from agencies including the UK Met Office and European sources points to a September 18 maximum near 24°C in Mexico City, supported by moderate daytime heating under mostly cloudy skies, light northerly flow, and scattered light rain that limits afternoon temperature spikes. This aligns with typical late-rainy-season conditions in the high-altitude basin, where historical September highs average 22–25°C and afternoon convection often caps extremes. Traders appear to weigh the 24°C outcome most heavily given stable short-range guidance and limited model spread, with upside to 25°C or higher hinging on any unexpected clearing. Updated runs ahead of the daily maximum will be the next key input for position adjustments.
