Persistent warmth from a strong upper-level ridge and surface high pressure has kept overnight lows elevated across Atlanta, with National Weather Service guidance and model consensus pointing to a minimum near 68–72°F for September 16. Light easterly winds, dew points in the upper 60s to low 70s, and limited radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies support this range, consistent with recent climatological trends running 5–10°F above average. Market-implied odds favoring 82°F or higher reflect trader assessment of these conditions and low precipitation risk, though any faster clearing or model shift toward stronger cooling could still alter the final official reading from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
