**Persistent warm, humid conditions driven by a tropical air mass and southeast flow are positioning 80-81°F as the leading market outcome for Miami’s lowest temperature on September 5.** Official National Weather Service and model guidance show overnight lows holding in the upper 70s to low 80s amid high dew points near 78–80°F, widespread cloud cover, and scattered thunderstorm activity that limits nighttime radiative cooling. This setup aligns with climatological norms for early September in South Florida, where average lows hover near 76°F but recent patterns have trended warmer due to elevated moisture and weak steering winds. Forecasts from multiple sources converge on a minimum near 78–81°F for the night of September 4–5, with any brief clearing unlikely to produce significant drops. The 24% implied probability on 73°F or below reflects residual uncertainty in exact cloud timing or localized cooling, but current model consensus and the absence of a cooler air mass make such outcomes less probable. Traders are weighting the most recent NWS point forecasts and ensemble guidance, which emphasize stable overnight warmth through the period.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kmia
This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button.
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
