Recent National Weather Service forecasts indicate a high near 96°F for Denver on August 28 under mostly sunny skies with only a slight afternoon thunderstorm risk, driving trader consensus toward the 92–95°F range. Clear atmospheric conditions, light southerly flow, and seasonal dryness typical of late August in the Front Range have allowed daytime heating to exceed the 85°F climatological average, while low dew points and minimal cloud cover limit evaporative cooling. Model runs show limited disagreement, with only modest storm potential that could cap temperatures below 96°F if convection develops earlier than expected. Historical data confirm 92–96°F highs occur frequently on this date, supporting the market-implied probabilities amid low uncertainty in the 24-hour outlook.
