This market will resolve based on the highest temperature recorded in the 'Daily Observations' table on Weather Underground, not the figure displayed in the 'Day High & Low' summary section; in the event of any discrepancy between the two, the Daily Observations table shall be the primary resolution source not the Day High & Low section. This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Singapore Changi Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 14 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day for the Singapore Changi Airport Station, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/sg/singapore/WSSS. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Singapore's equatorial climate typically produces daily maximum temperatures of 31–32°C in mid-August, with the current market heavily favoring 32°C or 33°C as the peak on the 14th.** The National Environment Agency's late-July outlook highlighted drier-than-average conditions and fair, occasionally windy weather during the first fortnight of August under the prevailing southwest monsoon, which supports maximum readings of 33–34°C on most days by limiting cloud cover and rainfall that would otherwise moderate temperatures through evaporative cooling and reduced solar insolation. Recent model consensus and observational trends, including sea-breeze effects from surrounding waters, have positioned 32°C as the leading outcome at 53.5% implied probability, while the 35% chance for 33°C reflects scenarios with clearer skies and stronger daytime heating. Shorter-range guidance showing highs near 31°C has tempered higher probabilities, keeping 34°C or above at just 5% combined. With resolution only two days away, traders are closely monitoring updated NEA and numerical weather prediction runs for any shifts in cloud or wind patterns that could alter the exact peak.
