Forecast consensus from multiple models points to a daily maximum of 33°C in Singapore on September 13, aligning with the market's strong 75.5% implied probability for that outcome. Prevailing southwest monsoon conditions, combined with an ongoing El Niño event driving above-normal temperatures across Southeast Asia, support elevated daytime heat under partly cloudy skies and limited rainfall. Official outlooks note typical September maxima near 31°C but anticipate 33–35°C on several days amid drier regional conditions. Traders appear to weigh the narrow range around 32–33°C given model agreement and historical inter-monsoon patterns, with resolution hinging on official Meteorological Service Singapore observations the following day.
