Recent polling from SKDS and others shows United List (AS) holding a narrow lead or competitive position ahead of the October 3, 2026, Saeima election, supported by its role in the new four-party center-right coalition formed in May after the previous government's collapse amid drone incursions and security tensions. Latvia First (LPV) and Sovereign Power (SV) follow closely in voter surveys, reflecting shifts among opposition and populist-leaning voters, while Progressives (PRO) and New Unity (JV) trail amid coalition realignments that excluded the former. Traders' implied probabilities appear to price in AS's institutional positioning, recent governing experience, and proportional representation dynamics favoring established lists, though the race remains fluid with roughly two months until voting and significant undecided voters.
